HTML-Kit Tools started initial support for Windows 8 when it reached Developer Preview milestone and has been officially supporting Windows 8 since Consumer Preview.
Now that the final version of Windows 8 has been released to manufactoring (RTM), I'm happy to share this screenshot of HTML-Kit Tools running on the final version of Windows 8 desktop:
It's hard to beleive that I've tested HTML-Kit on virtually all desktop PC versions of Windows since Windows 95! That's Windows 95, NT 4, 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003 (server), Vista, 2008 (server), Windows 7 and now Windows 8.
If you haven't seen HTML-Kit run on Windows 95, here's HTML-Kit 292 back then on an Intel 486:
HTML-Kit 292 looked essentially the same on Windows 98 and Windows ME. This is 292 running on Windows 2000:
And HTML-Kit 292 running on Windows XP:
Finally, moving up to HTML-Kit Tools running on Windows 7:
Thank you for sticking with HTML-Kit these many years!
