Fabulously FreeBy far, the best freeware HTML editor out there whose best features, in my humble opinion, are its abilities to be configured any way you want. Strip it down and build up a whole new user interface and then add your own custom-made buttons via plugins. Who could ask for more? Head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!Having used Front Page, and ignored CSS, hoping it would go away, I am about 5 years behind the learning curve on the lastest developments in web authoring.
After searching through available Blog software, I decided to go with pmachine, and work from canned CSS templates.
After struggling for weeks, using Notepad as my editor, someone told me about HTML-kit.
I downloaded it yesterday, and have been able to learn more and do more in less than 24 hours, than in all the previous days.

HaoAs a web developer, I can say that this is one application I can't live without. HTML-Kit is model of usability: easy to use yet full of nifty features like Workspace, Favorites, Keyboard Customization, code highlight, pop-up tag suggestions...
I also use HTML-Kit to: browse the web, FTP, launch other applications, edit for C++/Java..., test PHP/JSP/ASP apps by mapping to my localhost...

Nuts about the KitI have been using the Kit for years now and believe there is simply no better editor..anywhere!
All my projects be they websites, php apps etc are all built with HTML-Kit.

This is great softwareI am owner and developer of the website Dutchtax.net. I have built it completely with HTML Kit. If I have to do it all over again, I will absolutely use the software again.
Also love the various plug ins. Personally have good experience with the spell check dictionaries, find and replace in multiple files and php/mysql extensions. - Johann Muller

Fantastic Software!After trying several other software programmes, I have now been using HTML-Kit for almost a year and have deleted all others. This is an incredlbly helpful and easy-to-use programme which meets all my needs for maintaining two websites. It also provides the fastest and easiest upload of files to my websites - by far!
