Is there a way to get HTML-Kit to read text on web pages aloud?
HTML-Kit can read text on HTML pages aloud using the "
Text to Speech Wizard" introduced in Build 292. Select "
Tools | Text | Read Text" from the main menu to start listening to the text in the current file, or select a block of text to listen to a part of it.
No additional action or files are required to use this feature on Windows XP and 2000. Windows NT 4, ME and 98 systems may require a SAPI 5+ compatible speech engine.
